Cody Ursula Brubaker has one last chance to win a Pennsylvania state wrestling championship, and he has never been less sure of his chances.

A series of failures – on and off the mat – leave him filled with self-doubt. It doesn’t help that teammate David “Twister” Foster is wrestling better than ever, or that childhood friend and love interest Jody Beiler has started dating a football player.

And if that weren’t enough, a series of escalating senior pranks has the entire community rattled.
